I grew up on Guam, a tiny dot in the Pacific, moved to Las Vegas for school, and somehow ended up designing in New York City. Turns out I just traded one island for another. That journey, island to desert to the city that never sleeps, is exactly how I approach design: adaptable, curious, and always finding my footing somewhere new.

  1. Grit · Trust

    Building Angels' Cup

    I helped build Angels' Cup, a specialty coffee startup, from an idea into a product with real customers. It took grit through the hard pivots and, most of all, earning trust, the same instinct I now design into every flow.

  2. Consistency · Adaptability

    On the mat

    Jiu jitsu is years of showing up, staying calm under pressure, and adapting mid-roll when the plan falls apart. It is exactly how I approach a design problem: consistent reps, plus the flexibility to change course the moment the user tells me to.

  3. Patience · The long game

    Building a family

    Raising a family takes the same things: patience, consistency, and trust earned over time, not overnight. It keeps me grounded in what matters and reminds me the best things are built slowly, with care.
